Super easy and only takes about 30 minutes to cook. Prep time included!

Ingredients

The ingredients list just cannot be any simpler than these for mashed potatoes...at least not if you want the bare minimum of seasoning.

Here's the very simple list of ingredients that is required for this recipe:

  • Yukon Gold potatoes – Can be replaced with Russet, yellow, red or white potatoes. However, we prefer you use Yukon Gold for this one.
  • Vegetable broth – Chicken broth is also an option, but even though it would still be a non dairy recipe, it wouldn't be a vegan one for those looking for such option.
  • Olive oil We prefer olive oil for this recipe, but avocado oil is also an excellent option here in case you want that.
  • Minced garlic cloves – You could either get them already minced or you could mince the garlic cloves yourself. For less work, we recommend you get them already minced.
  • Sea salt Table salt is also an option, but we prefer sea salt because it is usually less processed.
  • Ground black pepper For that final touch of seasoning! Make sure it's still a high quality one for better results, both on the taste and its nutrition content.
  • Fresh chives – For toppings. While optional, it gives it that final touch of beauty and flavor.
