Ingredients

This Instant Pot Garlic Noodles recipe uses very few ingredients for the tasty result that it delivers.

You'll get the exact portions on the recipe card below, but here's an overview of all the ingredients of these garlic noodles:

  • Rice noodles – For this particular recipe, we prefer to use rice noodles. These noodles are stir-fry from the Thai Kitchen brand, which you should be able to find at any Asian grocery store or even in regular ones in the international food section. You should be able to find them online as well.
  • Soy sauce – For this recipe we use regular soy sauce. However, you can also use dark soy sauce. For a gluten-free recipe, you can use tamari instead.
  • Hot sauce – We use sriracha for this recipe, but you can also use any hot sauce of your preference. Feel free to also cut down the portion described in the recipe card below if you think it will be too hot for you.
  • Rice vinegar – This is our preferred choice for this particular recipe, but feel free to use white vinegar if that's what you have handy.
  • Garlic – Obviously, we couldn't miss the garlic here; otherwise it wouldn't be an Instant Pot Garlic Noodles recipe. A food processor might be needed to chop it really fine.
  • Ginger – For added flavor and stomach relief.
  • Garnishes – White sesame seeds and green onions are the garnishes used in this recipe. You could also add cilantro as an alternative.
  • Sesame oil – Adds to the flavor of the noodles.
  • Avocado oil – Also for added flavor and for its many health benefits.
  • Onion – Feel free to skip it, but we find it really adds to the overall flavor of the recipe.
  • Sea salt – We're big on sea salt, as you've probably noticed.
  • Sugar – To balance things out with the more sour ingredients.
