Ingredients
Instructions
-
Mix them together
In a large mixing bowl, mix the broccoli florets, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Move the broccoli to the basket of an air fryer. Set the temperature to 390°F (200°C) and cook for 7 to 9 minutes.
Make sure to shake the basket halfway through.
If you'd want the broccoli softer and more steamed rather than crispy, add 1 tablespoon of water to the bottom of the air fryer basket before cooking. -
Sprinkle and serve
Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or sesame seeds, if desired.
Serve hot!

Note
Use bigger florets
The bigger florets usually come out better for this recipe. The small florets tend to brown on top before the stalk became fully tender. By the time they get tender, the tips of the florets might burn.
So keep your florets on the large side! Bigger florets need more time to crisp up on top, so they cook more evenly in the air fryer.
Well coat it
For the broccoli to come out with tender stalks and crispy tops, it needs to be well-coated in the olive oil and garlic. Use your hands to work them into the tops of the broccoli florets – you don’t want any part of the broccoli to remain dry.
